Banquet Menus
Flamingo's Food and Beverage Manager has prepared a collection of banquet menus suitable for a wide variety of occasions. Have a look at some of the tasty offerings available for your special event.
In February of 2009 I booked the Flamingo Ballroom for New Years Eve. That night was also my first day of retirement and 60th Birthday. During 2009, I had the great pleasure of working with Victoria Shipley. She was always available to meet with my friends and me. Last minute decisions and changes to the room were handled without a ruffle.
From the moment my guests started arriving at the Flamingo until the last person checked out on January 2, your staff provided excellent service and the hotel was a well-polished gem. On December 30, we had dinner in the lounge for 22 people. Enrico, and the rest of the staff, were very pleasant and accommodating; including the sheet cake and tray with 61 burning votive candles. Yes, I did blow them all out in one blow and thank goodness we did not set off any fire sprinklers or alarms. Juana and her wait staff were wonderful before, during and after the party. A number of my guests commented to me about what wonderful service they provided and how excellent all the food was.
All of your front desk people worked with us in getting the accommodations right and on the night of December 31, we had over 40 rooms rented. I would like to mention Ruth in particular, who was working on January 1st , and went out of her way to take care of us and make sure a few questions that came up were resolved.
I have always loved the Flamingo Hotel but I will be telling everyone about what a wonderful event we had at your hotel, using you more as a place to go, and recommending the Flamingo as a place to stay.

I just wanted you to know that your staff is wonderful! We were well taken care of on Saturday night and everyone had a really nice time. The food was really good. I had the vegetarian dish and I loved it.
We even had a visit from Tommy Smothers who happened to be hanging out at the Flamingo celebrating his birthday. He entertained the cigar smokers outside in front.

"We are still basking in the light of everyone we see, that was there, complimenting us on the wedding that was perhaps the best destination wedding they have ever attended. You and your staff of the Flamingo provided us with the atmosphere for a home base we could have only have hoped for.You took alot off my plate with your family type professionalism.
