DJ Shooey & DJ Brad Robinson
DJ ShOOey (Space Cowboys)
No stranger to music, ShOOey spent over 20 combined years studying the cello and piano. ShOOey first discovered her love for house music in the Chicago club scene in 1997 but it wasn’t until she moved to San Francisco in 2003, where she learned the art of DJ’ing and the beauty of moving and shaping a dance floor. As a prominent member of the Space Cowboys music and art collective, based in San Francisco, she has been a part of more than a decade and a half of rocking dance floors with a massive following on the playa and beyond.
Whether performing at the annual Burning Man festival or the now infamous Space Cowboy’s Halloween event, Ghostship, ShOOey is known for the infectious energy that she brings to the dance floor. Whether it be through a smile, reaching out to hug someone, or dancing on stage, ShOOey is a big believer in that without the crowd, the DJ would be nothing!
DJ BRAD ROBINSON (Space Cowboys)
Brad Robinson started playing house music on the airwaves of Vanderbilt radio station WRVU, Nashville in 1994. Warehouse parties were prominent in the midwest and southeastern US during those years, providing Brad exposure to some of the best DJs and some of the best crowds that the scene had to offer. In 2000, Brad joined the Space Cowboys collective and journeyed to his first of many Burning Man festivals in the Nevada desert. In the desert of Black Rock City and the streets of San Francisco, Brad continued to share his love of house music with his 8+ year monthly residency at Vision and honed his trademark sound.
