What is your check-in/check/out time?

Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am.

Do you allow smoking on property?

We are a non-smoking property. Smoking in any room or on a balcony will result in a $250 cleaning fee. Smoking is restricted to designated smoking areas, indicated on your property map.

Can I smoke cannabis at the hotel?

While cannabis is legal for recreational use in California, smoking cannabis is not permitted in any room or balcony and is only allowed in our designated smoking areas, indicated on your property map.

What is the penalty for smoking on property?

There is a minimum $250 cleaning fee.

How do I sign up for your offers/newsletter?

Subscribe to our newsletters by visiting the footer of our website (flamingoresort.com). Enter your email address in the allotted space under “Subscribe for Email Offers” and hit subscribe. An email will be sent asking you to confirm your subscription. Be sure to click the “Subscribe” button in the email and you will start receiving fun happenings and resort offers.

Can I check-in without stopping by the lobby?

Contact-less check-in is available. You will receive an email 24-48 hours prior to your arrival, provided we have your email address. If you’ve booked through a 3rd party agency like Expedia or Booking.com, to take advantage of our contact-less check in, please contact our Guest Services Team to provide your email address. *Please note, you will still need to pick up your keys with a valid photo I.D. in the lobby.

What type of communication do you offer so I can avoid contact with people?

We offer a secure and contactless check-in experience through email correspondence. (You will still need to stop by our lobby to pick up your keys with a valid photo ID). We will send you text messages prior to your arrival, as well as a pre-arrival email with property information such as our pool hours and rules, and links to our on-site Fitness Center and Spa.

What cleaning protocols are in place to keep me safe from COVID19?

The safety of our guests and employees is paramount. We adhere to current COVID-19 protocols set by the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control; and state and local guidelines. Is your hotel dog-friendly?

We love dogs! Our dog-fee is $25 per dog, per day, plus tax, with a maximum charge of $100 per stay. Included in your reservation will be a bag of goodies: Flamingo doggy bandana, collapsable water bowl, waste bag holder, and Flamingo dog tag.

What is your cancellation policy?

Standard Cancellation Policy: Must cancel within 48 hours of arrival to avoid one night room and tax penalty.
*Please note, your cancellation policy will depend on booking method. If you’ve booked through a 3rd-party like Expedia or Booking.com, you will need to cancel your reservation directly through them, within their allotted time.

What does the Experience/Amenity Fee include?

We offer a wide variety of experiences and amenties that are included in our resort fee. Flamingo’s signature Cold Water Bucket Experience; tea hour, Health Club and Spa access; lecture series admission; excursion kit; lobby beverage station; baby accessories including Pack ‘n Play playpen, sheets, and Flamingo toy, Wi-Fi, and self parking. Yes! Childcare is available through our Health Club and is available 7 days a week for children ages 3 months to 12 years and is normally $10/$12 per hour. Reservations are required, please visit https://www.montecitoheights.com/child-care.

Do you have a pool? What are the hours?

Yes, our pool hours are 6am to 10pm.

Is there pool code of conduct?

Always maintain a physical distance of 6 feet.
No pool floats allowed.
No smoking.
Unless a service dog, no dogs are allowed in the pool area.
No diving or cannon balls.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
No glass.
1 pool towel per person only.
All pool towels must be returned to the Tiki Hut.
Chaise lounges are first come, first serve.

We are not offering day passed to our pool at this time.
